Your Questions, Answered

  • We primarily offer acupuncture and/or electro-acupuncture as our main therapeutic modality. Other modalities we sometimes perform may include sliding or stationary cupping, gua sha scraping, Tui Na bodywork, application of topical liniment, herbal medicine, supplement recommendation, and TCM food therapy guidance. We do not utilize moxibustion (AKA “moxa”) in our practice due to individuals possible sensitivities to smoke in the air.

  • Getting started is simple. You may click any of the “Book Now” buttons on this site to be taken to our online booking page, submit a contact form through the website, or call or text our phone number and we can assist you.

  • For new patients, up to an hour and a half. For established patients, between 45 minutes to 1 hour.

  • A few things set us apart. Our practitioners bring years of advanced clinical experience, so you're always in skilled, confident hands. We're proud to accept insurance — making quality acupuncture more accessible than you might expect (though some plan limitations apply). We go out of our way to personalize every visit, keeping detailed preference notes on each patient so your care feels consistent and tailored, every single time. And practically speaking, our large, beautifully appointed clinic is easy to reach from the freeway with plenty of parking — because your experience should feel effortless from the moment you pull in.

  • You can reach us anytime via phone, text, our contact page, or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day Monday - Thursday. Inquiries sent after hours or on Friday & Saturday when we are closed may take a little longer.

  • Patients are welcome to use insurance if we are a contracted provider and your specific plan covers our procedures and your condition. For those without insurance, or those for whom insurance does not cover acupuncture or does not deem your condition “medically necessary” for acupuncture treatment, we offer Self Pay time of service discounts and also discount pre-paid packages. We also accept auto injury liens on a case by case basis. We do not currently accept Workers Comp cases.

Visit our pricing page for more details on which insurances we accept and our self pay options.

  • Our providers will guide you with a recommended treatment plan based on evidence in research as well as their clinical experience for your case once you have been seen. Having said that, it is commonly recommended for the treatment of pain that patients do acupuncture 2 times per week for the first 3-5 weeks for relief care and then frequency tapers down once results are sustained. Typical maintenance care is once per month to prevent relapse of symptoms.

  • It's one of the most common questions we hear — and we love answering it. Most people are genuinely surprised by how comfortable acupuncture is. The needles used are incredibly fine, nothing like the needles associated with injections or blood draws, and the sensation is typically described as a mild pressure, warmth, or a brief tingling feeling. Many patients barely notice the needles at all. Once you're settled in, most people find the experience deeply relaxing — it's not uncommon to drift off to sleep on the table. If you've been putting off trying acupuncture because you're worried about discomfort, we'd love the chance to change your mind.

  • The short answer is, yes! Because of the affects that acupuncture and electro-acupuncture have on the body, acupuncture is an effective and safe treatment for a wide range of health concerns. We specialize in treating pain.

  • No. Our office does not perform fertility related acupuncture services, such as supporting/assisting IVF or helping to induce labor. There are several others in the greater Las Vegas Valley that do. We recommend searching Google and looking specifically for those acupuncturists/OMDs with an ABORM certification.

  • No.

  • Yes. Dry needling, though the term has been popularized in recent years by physical therapists and chiropractors, has its origins in acupuncture and is one of the tools that most acupuncture practitioners utilize on a daily basis. It is a sub-type of orthopedic-style acupuncture used to help release trigger points or knots found throughout muscle fibers at unspecified anatomical locations. In classical TCM acupuncture, these points were referred to as “ashi” points and often incorporated into acupuncture treatment along with classical acupoints which all have specific anatomical locations over or adjacent to nerve and blood vessel pathways.

  • Our practitioners completed their training right here in the United States — and you may be surprised by what that means. Earning a degree in acupuncture and Oriental medicine in the U.S. requires thousands of hours of rigorous academic and clinical training, meeting standards set by national accreditation bodies. The depth and quality of that education is fully comparable to training abroad. What matters most, though, is the skill, experience, and care a practitioner brings to every treatment — and on that front, our team is exceptional.
